Hey, Does this have the same body as the Elly MXDL flashlight. The Elly body doesn't seem to be steel but aluminum rather because it does not stick to a magnet.

These are the Elly bodies indeed. But with DX modified reflector cups because the original Elly's plastic reflector cup doesn't perfectly fit Cree emitters -- you can see alignment problems and gaps between the bottom of the reflector and the emitter.
